Originally based in the United Kingdom the journey of one man and his dog (Bluemoon), documenting the fish species of the UK followed by the Atlantic Ocean and a 3 year trip to the Mediterranean, before ending up in the western central Pacific Ocean, on an epic journey to document all the fish in the worlds oceans and seas.

After nearly 3 years in the Philippines, writing, compiling, and publishing 4 volumes on the native species of the south China Sea, covering over 2000 fish species, in full colour and with full descriptions, 1 fish per page, including Trophic levels, habitat, feeding habits etc, it is time to head back to a few of the earlier books, starting with Native species of the Mediterranean Sea, this will fall into the same Blue Book series as the South China Sea and ending up with a full set that covers basically everywhere.
