Born in central Texas, DeDe grew up with a very vivid imagination. She had a penchant for writing at a young age, writing lyrics to songs and skits, but didn't develop a desire to write romance novels until a few years ago. Once she let her imagination run wild, the dam broke and all kinds of stories came to life.
