Sinan Kanbir
Dr. Sinan Kanbir is an Associate Professor of Mathematics Education, author, curriculum developer, and mathematics educator committed to helping students become confident problem solvers. He is the author or co-author of 16 mathematics books, including the Bridge Math, GeoTopia, and Mathematical Fluency series.
His work emphasizes strong mathematical foundations, early algebra, geometric reasoning, conceptual understanding, and meaningful problem solving. Dr. Kanbir has led math circles, enrichment programs, and mathematics competitions and has contributed to national and state assessments and contests, including MathCON, Math League, Wisconsin mathematics competitions, and Smarter Balanced. Through his books and educational programs, he works to make mathematics rigorous, engaging, and accessible.
