Julian Reeve

Julian Reeve is an Author, Consultant, Keynote Speaker and Founder of Perfect Equilibrium™ Inc, a company specializing in Stress/Burnout Management and Employee Retention in the Creative Industries.

He has performed to millions across six continents around the world as a musician, most recently as the Music Director for the Broadway musical, Hamilton. He has worked extensively in education, with his work featured in The Hill Newspaper in addition to many other news and magazine outlets. He has founded and built four successful businesses in the creative sector, and regualrly appears across ABC, CBS, and other media platforms.

Julian has been a perfectionist for over 40 years. Realizing that much of his experience with maladaptive perfectionism could have been avoided with more knowledge of the subject in childhood, Julian created Captain Perfection to inspire young perfectionists to develop robust and healthy management techniques for their perfectionism early on in life. The importance of self-compassion is central to his message, and now integral to his work with high achievers and creative organizations.
