Ron Dowd

I am a clinical psychotherapist, poet and artist living in Sydney Australia and energised by dreams, the inner life, the imaginal, nature and here-and-now presence. In my psychotherapy and poetic practices I’m informed by Gestalt, and by the work of C.G. Jung and post-Jungians, by James Hillman and by Henry Corbin. My poetics are about gnostic inquiries, and about imaginal and meditative journeys. With Corbin, I believe that “The Temple must first be built in the heart.” (Quotation from his book “Temple and Contemplation”.)
