While studying at the University of Denver, Will pursued many outlets to find how best he could serve the world. For many years he followed a path of mountain guiding which brought him to the tops of the Cascades in Washington, the peaks of the Himalayas in Northern India and the cold shores of Tasmania. This fostered his love and appreciation for our relationship with mother nature, but ultimately he decided it was not his calling.
After graduating from university, Will enrolled in Yoga Teacher Training with the Kindness Collective. Immediately yoga resonated with him and he knew this was his calling to serve. Having developed many systems of self-care from daily meditation, journaling, diet and exercise, yoga brought all of the lessons he had gained throughout the years into one cohesive practice. The one insight he kept coming back to was finding balance.
Yoga brings balance to life in ways far beyond asanas. Will believes this is the key in all aspects of life. From a healthy relationship with nature, attuning your mind, body and spirit to be in harmony, and living authentically with intention, it all comes back to balance.
Will has been fortunate to study and learn from many teachers around the world and brings the wisdom and insight from these cultures into his classes. From the Shipibo of Central America, to the Brahmin of the Himalayas, he aims to share the teachings of these sacred traditions with his students.
Will’s perspective aims to elevate his students by offering them the tools necessary to grow and heal. Having developed and mastered many systems of self-care from meditation, diet, nutrition, yoga, plant-medicines and mindfulness, Will takes a holistic approach to share the insights he has gained through these modalities with his students so they may overcome their own barriers.
