L. H. Ray

I was born in a small town and grew up in a house full of noisy siblings with parents who were strict, loving, and always demanded the best from us. We were raised to love and honor God, and while I might have walked away briefly, in His infinite wisdom, he wooed me back into his loving arms. I grew up with a large family and it was quite easy to get lost in the hustle and bustle of such a household. It did not help that I was an insufferable wallflower, uncomfortably quiet and painfully shy. I found comfort in hiding away and creating stories where a little girl, like me, could be the lead character.

I met my husband while serving in the military. We have two wonderful sons, who are my creative directors and sounding boards...even when they are not exactly excited to have the job. I hope that my stories will inspire young readers and will show them in simple ways just how special they are, and just how much they are truly loved.
