Jocelyn Quinn has three political pieces published in the Huffington Post, most notably her interview with the late Congressman John Lewis. In high school, she co-founded a student-led diversity magazine and was editor-in-chief of the yearbook. Jocelyn studies journalism within the Hussman School of Journalism and Media, and English at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her first novel, Off The Record, is based on her own experiences growing up in Washington D.C.: from her mother’s battle with cancer, to waitressing at Millie’s, to attending the “off the record” media dinners hosted by her mother, Washington entrepreneur and D.C. Hostess Susanna.
When she is not writing, Jocelyn enjoys listening to classic rock, and updating her lifestyle blog and photo gallery at jocelynquinn.com.
