C.R. Pugh is the author of Hunted in the Valley, the first book of a YA dystopian fantasy trilogy. Other books in the Old Sequoia Valley trilogy include Secrets of the Valley and Battle for the Valley. This debut series was inspired by Pugh's love of young adult fiction with a touch of the science fiction, fantasy, and romance.

In her spare time, Pugh enjoys reading and daydreaming about her next series! She lives in north Texas with her supportive, hard-working husband and beautiful daughter.
