Jonathan Rachman

As a celebrated interior designer, Jonathan Rachman brings an international story to all of his work.

Jonathan Rachman was born in the Lampung province of Sumatra, Indonesia, was educated in Lausanne, Switzerland, and he has made San Francisco his home. One of America’s top interior designers, Rachman has received acclaim and multiple awards, and has been featured in renowned publications such as Vogue, Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, Elle Decoration, House Beautiful, Homes & Gardens and Travel + Leisure. His Market Street store in San Francisco has been featured in the Louis Vuitton city guide.

He has published a monograph on his interior design projects Currently Classic (Flammarion, 2022) as well as a personal memoir The Garlic Peanut Story (Saritaksu Editions, 2020).
