A.K. Walker has been writing since high school, creating short stories and developing the Kate Ryder Files. Fairy tales and urban legends have always been a part of her life, and she wanted to create her own to brighten her surroundings and make the mundane a little more exciting.

She embarked on her publishing journey while finishing her studies in mechanical engineering at the University of Michigan. Her sense of humor – while endearing – is often sarcastic, and her ability to balance being an athlete and an absolute klutz is unparalleled. With her books, A.K. hopes to inspire readers to explore their imagination and reality in a new light.
