Dee Ouellette

Dee Ouellette has been a storyteller her whole life. Being the only girl of a military family meant she had to entertain herself. She was often without toys or books, so she invented stories and adventures using whatever objects were lying around the house. Shoes became cars, books became doll beds, and acorn tops wooden bowls for Barbie.

She has used that creative storytelling ability to entertain children for over fifty years, beginning at twelve, babysitting her neighbor's kids until today. Through her mission work, she has engaged children in five of the seven continents, teaching Bible stories, doing children's trauma healing workshops, and childcare training for parents and caregivers.

She is currently writing Middle-Grade adventure books, writing and editing weekly devotionals and books for her church community, and writing and publishing her community monthly e-newsletter.

She is also a world traveler, where she finds inspiration for her exciting books. She has been to thirty-six states and twenty-nine countries. She currently lives in Virginia with her husband of 35 years and enjoys hanging out with her five daughters and nine grandchildren.
