I am a Family Nurse Practitioner living in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma with my husband and two teenage sons. My educational background started with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Law Studies from Marquette University. After deciding that law enforcement was not the path for me, I decided to apply my aptitude for investigation to a career in healthcare. I earned a Bachelor of Nursing from the University of Central Oklahoma followed by a Master of Nursing from the University of South Alabama. One of my favorite parts of being a Nurse Practitioner is when I get a challenging case that requires me to research, investigate, and think outside the box to determine the diagnosis. Another aspect that I love is being able to educate my patients and share my knowledge with them so they can better care for themselves. So here I am doing the same thing again. Using both my love of analysis and my love of educating and applying it to something else I am passionate about... Jesus. Although I born into the Christian faith, I have struggled with anxiety, depression, and questions about the Christian faith throughout my life. I found myself called to direct my love of research towards finding and understanding the spiritual truths contained in the Bible. In doing so I not only found my answers but a peace I had never known.
