Jayson Miller, better known by his stage name Craze 24, is a British rapper, youth activist, children's book author, and publisher. Born in London in the late 1970s, Craze 24 first made a name for himself in the UK rap scene in the late 90s and 2000s, winning major rap battles, supporting world-famous artists like Nas and Ghostface Killah, and performing at venues like Wembley Arena.
Outside of music, Craze 24 has dedicated himself to empowering youth and promoting positive change. In 2008, he was recognized by Mothers Against Guns as a role model for young people. In 2017, he collaborated with Black Lives Matter on a tribute song to victims of police brutality. Since 2018, Craze 24 has run free music workshops to provide creative outlets for at-risk youth.
Most recently, Craze 24 added children's book author to his resume. In 2020, during COVID-19 lockdowns, he wrote and illustrated his first book "When I Grow Up" for his sons. He has since released a series of children's books on important topics like diversity, equality, and overcoming adversity.
Craze 24 continues to spread positive messages through his music and writing. He launched his own publishing company, Always Progress Publishing, in 2020. A multi-talented creative dedicated to uplifting youth and communities, Craze 24 was fittingly awarded The Big Issue's Change Maker Award that same year.
