Paul Turner

Paul Turner is a technical/IT headhunter and co-founder of DigiTech Search, which he runs with his sister Claire Jones and his life-long friend Chris Proctor. Their specialist technical recruitment business supports businesses throughout Europe but mainly within UK, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Netherlands, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland and Iceland, and was a ‘new business of the year’ finalist in the 2019 Business Excellence Awards.

Paul has over a decade of experience in scaling and powering up the digital capabilities of tech teams across Europe and a strong track record, having placed over a thousand full-time professionals into key positions for businesses such as Nokia (now HERE maps), 1&1 Internet/GMX, Zalando, Groupon, Mesosphere (now D2iQ) and PayPal. He has helped some start-up businesses catapult into unicorn status by securing exceptional talent during scale-up stages, giving companies the platform of people to achieve greatness.

He started off in recruitment as a junior and worked his way up through progressive leadership positions so when it comes to tech recruitment he’s been around the block and knows a thing or two about how things should be done and what it takes to make the recruitment process and partnership exceptional.

He is passionate about raising funds for charity and works primarily with B1G1 to support the UN’s global goals for sustainable development, and the Raspberry Pi Foundation which helps young and underprivileged children to code.
