Maria Rousakis

Maria Rousakis is an acclaimed Greek-American author. She has written over 45 books for children of all ages as well as two literary novels. Her books have been awarded in Greece and the U.S. and have aired on television shows in both countries. Some of her works have been translated into Chinese, Korean, Swedish and Turkish. Maria was also the Regional Advisor for SCBWI Greece from 2010 till 2014 and is a member of the International Board on Books for Young People. She is a mother of three teens and loves to cook up stories in the kitchen.
