Dr. Micah E. Johnson is an Associate Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at the UCLA Geffen School of Medicine. His research focuses on trauma and behavioral health. Dr. Johnson has authored over 30 scientific articles and multiple books. His work has been cited by the New York Times, ESPN, Senator Bernie Sanders, Charlamagne tha God, and others. Dr. Johnson's research has helped reduce decades of prison sentences and overturn death penalties for individuals with mental health problems in over 100 capital and felony cases. He is also a SAG-AFTRA actor and disseminates behavioral health resources through creative works.
