Roy Paul Awbery

Hi! I'm Roy Awbery and I am a scientist working in the nuclear field, a successful artist, and now an author-illustrator of children's books!

I first started writing and illustrating children's books in 2020 and began with my debut book "The Scariest Dinosaur". I have now released my 2nd book "I Saw a Dinosaur" which features more intricate illustrations and rhyming verse with a touch of humor.

I used to make up stories for my children when they were very young and then started to do the same for my grandchildren. I decided to take this a step further and create published books so that they had something tangible to collect and keep. I love the process of writing and illustrating and have many more ideas in progress.
