Robert Scheib

Robert Scheib was born in Bavaria, Germany in 1965. He has two children and lives in a stable partnership in the Rhineland close to Cologne and Düsseldorf. After high school graduation and much community service, he studied business administration, holding strategic marketing leadership positions in large corporations over many years, focusing on energy management. He has constantly focused his private and later his professional life on sustainability. As a member of Scientists 4 Future, he is committed to topics concerning climate change, the environment, biodiversity and sustainability (particularly in the context of attentiveness, respect and responsibility). His hobbies include fitness training, playing the acoustic guitar, spending time with his Weimaraner and being with and in nature, the forest and the sea...

His philosophy of life: "Every Day is a new day. It is better to be lucky. But I would rather be exact. Then when luck comes, you are ready."

(from: Ernest Hemingway, The Old Man and the Sea).
