Daniel Trejo Medina

Daniel Trejo-Medina is a tenured professor by competitive examination at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). He serves as a postgraduate lecturer at the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM) and Universidad Latina de América. Additionally, he has been invited to teach at institutions across Europe and Latin America. As a speaker, he specializes in disseminating knowledge in science and technology. Recognized as a National Researcher, Level I, by the National System of Researchers (SNII).

With over 30 years of professional experience, he has contributed to projects across Latin America, the United States, and Europe, focusing on information technology, knowledge management, advanced analytics, data governance, digital transformation, and the integration of open platforms in both the public and private sectors.

Dr. Trejo-Medina has held leadership and collaborative roles in various regional companies in Latin America, the U.S., and Europe. For the past sixteen years, he has combined his professional practice with teaching and research. His legal research centers on analytical justice and LegalTech, as well as justice administration processes. He has also served as an official within the Federal Judiciary of Mexico, including the Supreme Court of Justice, and has been a visiting researcher at the Center for Constitutional Studies.

He is the author of more than twenty books, along with peer-reviewed chapters and articles. Dr. Trejo-Medina holds a Doctorate in Administrative Sciences and a degree in Computer Engineering from UNAM, both awarded with honors. He also earned a Doctorate in Administration from Universidad Anahuac, a specialization in management from Columbia Business School in New York, and an MBA in Senior Management from EBC in Mexico. He is certified in public policy by the University of Virginia and holds a law degree with honors from UVM. He is currently pursuing a doctorate in law at UNAM.

In the realm of sports, he is a certified judge with World Aquatics, actively participating in international competitions, including world championships and Pan American Games
