Steve Bartimote

Steve or Butchy as he is known, has a long held interest and fascination in security and defence. He originally trained as a locksmith, however for the last 25 years he has worked within the IT Industry. As with many in this industry Butchy initially followed the pathways of Web Development and IT Support. He has provided Server Administration (Windows and Linux) before developing greater skills in programming and software development.

More recently, Butchy has developed his skill set as a ‘solution architect’ as well as his interest in cyber security. He continues to work with technology, including electronics, from one end of the spectrum to the other and has developed a passion for the ‘Raspberry Pi platform’. In his away from technology time Butchy is an avid martial artist and instructor.
