Gary Roberts

Gary Roberts has been an educator and coach for more than forty years. His teaching career began in Doveton, a suburb of Melbourne, Australia. He still has a soft spot in his heart for the people of Australia and loves to watch two of his favorite teams, St. Kilda in the AFL, and Parramatta in the NRL.

Gary returned to the United States in 1978 and has been teaching in the Warren Twp. School district on the east side of Indianapolis, where he lives with the world’s greatest kindergarten teacher, his wife Jerri. He currently coaches girls lacrosse and serves as the vice president of the Indiana Girls Lacrosse Association. (This is despite the fact that, until his school offered lacrosse eight years ago, he had never seen a girls lacrosse game and was quite surprised to see that the girls version of lacrosse is quite different from the way the boys play the game.)

He has grownup kids and grandkids, and loves to spend as much time with them as he can. (The adult ones and little ones)

Gary attends Cumberland United Methodist Church on the far eastside of Indianapolis.
