Richard A. Hailey

Richard Hailey has been for many years an avid traveler, a father of two wonderful sons and the owner of a variety of pets (Twin stingrays Ike and Mike, Blinky the lizard, Iro and Sobek the bearded dragons, Kojo the miniature Collie, a cat named Kittydog, a chicken appropriately called Patch, and a menagerie of goldfish, turtles and many more pets). His number one inspiration and drive to author a children’s poetry/story book about a pup named Mr.Crumbles, is due to his seventeen year relationship with his best friend Boots, a feisty Rat Terrier. His first attempt at creating a children’s book, was conceived from a challenge by his wife to become a writer, like his favorite author George Plimpton.
