Cat Kimbrough

Cat was diagnosed with ADHD and Bipolar Disorder as an adult. She has always been honest with her children about her diagnoses and tries to make sure they understand that it is not always their fault that Mama is upset or frustrated. Cat hopes to help other kids understand that they are always loved no matter what mood their grown-up may be in and that other children are experiencing the same things, too. She hopes to assist in opening the lines of communication of mental health topics with children and believes that the earlier these hard topics are taught and discussed the less stigma they will encounter in the future.
