Yan T WEE

Dr. Yan T Wee has pastored 3 Independent Baptist Churches in Singapore, two of which he had the privilege to start - Shalom Baptist Church and Shaddai Baptist Church. He received his honorary doctorate from Great Plains Baptist Divinity School, Sioux Falls, South Dakota, USA.

Over the years in the pastorate, he was burdened for the ministry of the printed page. His first book, 'The Soul-Winner's Handy Guide', was designed to be a practical book on personal evangelism. It is succinct, scriptural, and scientific, and is meant to engage the lost in an intellectual and meaningful way. The Soul-Winner's Handy Guide is used as a reference or text book in some bible colleges in the US, UK, and Asia, besides in churches for their evangelism courses.

His other book: 'In Silence, I Cry' - a systematic study on Suffering, has been a great personal comfort to many struggling believers and is used in churches as a systematic study on suffering.

His third book, Darwin's Universe - From Nothing, By Nothing, For Nothing - Survival for Nothing, delves into the evolution/creation skirmish to show that if we are here From Nothing (Big Bang), and By Nothing (Darwinian Evolution), then we are logically here For Nothing (Purposeless).

Besides pastoring and writing, he was doing sporadic bible conferences in the Asia Pacific Realm. His prayer is to let God do His eternal work through him in the ministry of the printed page for the future generations and for the glory of God.
