I was born in a small town in Istria, Croatia. My parents decided to come to America when I was four years old. My dad's aunt in America sponsored us to come to the States. We spent six months in a camp for refugees in Italy while waiting for our papers to be processed. I developed a love for reading at a very early age. I would get lost in the pages. I love to take long walks with my husband of 36 years. I enjoy needlepoint and I love sitting around with friends and family trading stories. My husband and I recently moved to North Carolina and discovered the wonderful sport of disc golf. The pace here is much slower than than in NYC and in the quiet I was beginning to discover new possibilities and wrote my first book. It's a true story about an event that took place when our daughter was just 6 years old. It took me 22 years to realize the lessons that presented themselves in that event. Better late then never!
