Peter Albert Derringer

Rich Rostron is an award-winning journalist with more than two decades in the profession that includes serving as a sports editor, a freelance writer with The Chicago Tribune and other publications and periodicals, and as the advisor for a student newspaper at a community college. Along with his love for reading and writing, he has a life-long passion for history, a passion that took root when he was 11 years old and was introduced to his junior high (middle) school library. With ‘The Burning Sea of Iron Bottom Bay,’ he seeks to share that passion with young readers today.
