Stuart A. Paterson

One of Scotland’s best-known poets of the last 30 years, Stuart lives by the Solway coast in Galloway. Originally from Ayrshire, he has received many national awards for his poetry and was voted ‘Scots Writer of the Year 2020’. From 2017-18 he was the official BBC Scotland Poet in Residence. Author of several books of poetry in Scots and English, his poems have been published, anthologized and filmed worldwide.
