I'm a neurodiverse guy in my 50s who has come to writing thanks to the encouragement of some really good friends. I've been storytelling for over 40 years, first as a player and then as a game master with pen and paper roleplaying games. Then in the early 2010s, I started to try writing some of these stories down, and I have kept writing since. I firmly believe in the 10,000-hour theory of mastery and that ultimately; writers have to write full stories to get better at their craft. After posting a couple of stories on DeviantArt, I checked out Amazon, and seeing how easy it was to publish an eBook and all the different things people were trying, I decided there really wasn't any excuse for me not to throw my hat into the ring.
