AMANDA HOPE engages in translational research focusing on the nature and treatment of anxiety and addiction, such as Codependency. She is particularly interested in effective vulnerability factors, such as distress intolerance and stress reactivity, that are common across psychological disorders, focusing on those that can be modified with treatment.

Other focuses are on improving the efficacy and reach of behavioral therapies. Although behavioral therapies are highly effective for several psychiatric disorders, there is significant room for general improvement.

Her first work, " ATTACHMENT THEORY" now published months ago, was a "Best Seller" in the Couples & Family Therapy category. If those who have read that book today can not do without it, this is twice as long - but it is advisable to have it in the audiobook version (by the way, free the first month, on Audible).
