Nancy L. McCurtin

The author, Nancy McCurtin, lost her vision in 2016. To this point, she had led a very active life. In thinking about her new life as a blind person, it seemed that her life was like the story The Tortoise and the Hair - before becoming blind, she was very active in volunteer activities, darting around like the Hair. After becoming blind, her activities came to a stop, so in deciding what she could do writing about her condition was the answer. That is how Topsey The Blind Sea Turtle was born.
