Paul Noth

About the Author

Paul Noth is the 2025 winner of the Thurber Prize for American Humor in Cartoon Arts and the first Cartoonist Laureate of Wisconsin. He has published over 400 cartoons in “The New Yorker,” several of which are among the most widely shared cartoons on social media. He created the Emmy-nominated animated series “Pale Force” for “Late Night with Conan O’Brien” and co-created the animated short “Cool Drones” for “Saturday Night Live.” He is author of the cartoon collection “I Am Going to Eat You… And Other Awkward Truths” from Union Square & Co. and the “How to Sell Your Family to the Aliens” middle grade trilogy from Bloomsbury. He has developed shows for Cartoon Network, Adult Swim, and Nickelodeon. His Novus series of educational comic books, created for the New York Federal Reserve, is used in classrooms across the United States to teach financial literacy.
