David Sedaca

THE ENDURANCE OF ISRAEL: A BRIEF HISTORY OF THE JEWISH PEOPLE is the most recent work by Professor David Sedaca. The author received his BA "Cum Laude" from Harvard University and continued his studies at the Baptist Theological Seminary of Buenos Aires, and the School for Middle East Studies of the University of Belgrano. He is presently "Permanent Resident Scholar" at the Moriah International Center in Israel, a program sponsored by the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where he teaches "Introduction to Biblical Archaeology," "The Jewishness of the Gospels," and "Halakha: Between Law and Grace." He is also professor at the Haifa Theological Institute in Israel, where his lectures are turned into DVDs and translated to Russian, Spanish, and Hebrew. Professor Sedaca is a Messianic Jew and has received ordination both as Messianic Rabbi and Pastor. Born in Uruguay, he grew up in Europe where his father was helping in the relocation of Holocaust survivors. His profound knowledge of biblical, historical and archaeological studies made him a much sought after speaker and contributing writer. This new book that he now presents fills a gap in understanding the history of Israel and the Jewish people, starting from the calling of Abraham and ending with modern-day Israel, this books covers all the intermediate centuries. David Sedaca has served for 25 years as the Executive Director of the International Messianic Jewish Alliance and is presently Vice-president of Chosen People Ministries, organization with headquarters in New York.
