Igor Pavlov

Igor Pavlov was a nuclear physicist. He took part in the decontamination activities in Chernobyl, as well as in various international research programs, and has been investigating the Dyatlov case since 2009, focusing on the analysis of archival documents and witness recollections. Author of the best-known textual transcripts of handwritten documents from 1959 – criminal case files, diary entries, and testimonies of the search group members – he put together the complete archive of materials on the topic and collaborated with the leading researchers of the tragedy.
