John C. Christiansen

I grew up in the Pacific Northwest, where I spent much of my youth drawing silly, violent cartoons, making up silly, gross stories, and enjoying the judgment that resulted. By the time I finished college, I had made a small name for myself by writing plays that were equally silly and gross, and almost as violent. But through it all, one very large story had been clamoring to escape from my brain. Some bits and pieces of it (the story, not the brain) had found their way into my plays and cartoons, but that wasn't enough.

I decided it was time to solidify it all into my trilogy, ONCE UPON A TIME IN THE UNIVERSE. I invite you into this universe with the first book, THE TWINKLING RUINATION, a grotesque, satirical, sci-fi adventure.

While I believe in kindness and human dignity, my stories often do not. But don't let that turn you away. It's still just me!
