Thomas Orchard

The author was born Free in 1961 shortly before the Berlin Wall was built. After an uneventful childhood he spent his adolescent years touring the great university towns of England and working in-between to finance his studies. A drop out from Aston University and a graduate of the LSE and Salford University he has indulged in such diverse occupations as delivering mail to the fine folk of Chelsea, selling life insurance, bottling manometer fluid, loading washing machines onto lorries, doing furniture removals, working in a motorcycle factory and signalling for a TA Regiment. He is currently to be found hurtling round the streets of Manchester in his white Fiat van in the mistaken belief that he is astride a 750cc Norton Commando Fastback. He is not. Yet.
