When Laura was diagnosed with multiple tumors in 2014 there were no web sites organizing the hundreds of topics arising out of both the conventional and naturopathic worlds.

Without prejudice for any particular discipline, Laura and her husband Joe researched diverse MD and alternative medicine practitioners, and collected the best self-healing ideas out there. Through these, Laura’s own tumors shrank along the way.

Realizing that most women want multi-disciplinary information - as medical literacy leads to choice and self-empowerment - Joe and Laura assembled the ManagingBreastCancer.com web site, featuring The New Horizons Master Class Video Program.

Laura and Joe are parents of four, and they reside in Connecticut. Laura is a triple black belt karate practitioner, and Joe is a research-oriented author with published works in law, history, biography, art & music.
