Ryan Copeland

Ryan Copeland was born in 1987 on Galveston Island. His youth was spent lost in the world of books and movies and navigating the weird time of the late 90s and early 2000s. In 2012, he joined the United States Army and has been posted in Seoul, South Korea, San Antonio, and finally Augusta, GA. In 2021, he made the decision to walk away from the Army, and pursue work in the private sector.

He grew up always loving to read and write and play music. Needing to reignite his creative brain, he conjures up The Axton Empire over the span of a few months and set about fleshing it out in early 2019. Thanks to the downtime the Covid-19 pandemic created, he was finally able to finish and self published book 1, The Spirit Of The Warrior in February 2021.

At present, he is hard at work on book 2 The Land Beyond, and transitioning out of the Army. When he’s not working, he likes to spend time with his family, exploring the world, and barbecuing with his friends.
