Lalee Bond recently dared to catch the coattail of her dream to live a quieter and more creative life in a smaller, (much smaller) town. This has landed her in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont where she and her husband, Seth, and their cat, Bella the Tikken, relocated to a rambling farmhouse they intend to turn into a creative retreat. Leave Us in the Now is the final volume in a trilogy of her collected haiku from 2007–2021, which includes Mysteriously and Watercolor-Rendered Words. They follow her book of haiku-inspired essays, The Love Around Us.
