Bob Klein

Bob Klein has been studying and teaching Tai-chi since 1970. He was an early student of Grandmaster William C. C. Chen. He was also a zoologist, working with hundreds of species of animals in the wild and captivity and has a degree in Zoology from Cornell University. This gave him a deeper understanding of Tai-chi, which is based on animal movements.

Mr. Klein also apprenticed with teachers of healing traditions of other cultures to gain an appreciation of how many cultures understand the process of healing and how they express that knowledge. He is the author of the books, "Movements of Magic - the Spirit of Tai-chi-Chuan", "Movements of Power - Ancient Secrets of Unleashing Instinctual Vitality", "Tai Chi and Qigong Daily Meditations", and "Heal Yourself and the World with Tai-chi" as well as the novel, "The Doubting Snake". Mr. Klein created a series of online, international Tai Chi teacher discussion groups which are ongoing

Bob has produced over 70 instructional DVDs on Tai-chi and related subjects, and has taught thousands of students at his school on Long Island, N. Y. and around the country. He and his wife, Jean (who is also a Tai-chi teacher), also do organic gardening. They will soon be moving to Dallas Tx, where he will continue teaching in-person as well as online classes.
