S. John

S. John is a British college educator of politics and sociology, a part time university lecturer of history and, still only in his (albeit late) 20's, an aspiring modern political thinker looking to continue the rich tradition of British philosophy.

Politicology is his first published book, although he has written for many online publications offering political commentary and philosophical discourse. With it, he hopes to contribute to a debate which he thinks is distinctly lacking in modern Britain, that debate about the fundamental nature of ideology and the philosophy of morality.

To him, the debate is one which has been usurped by American commentators and the Americanised way of thinking, which is as worrying as it is a real shame. Hopefully, with more works along these lines, British sensibilities will once again prevail and the conversation will once again take a more civilised turn.
