Marcelo Andrade

Marcelo de Andrade was born in 1970, on the outskirts of the City of S. Paulo (SP). If he made a mistake, it was not for lack of guidance from his dedicated parents. He is happily married and the proud father of a talented daughter. He graduated in Journalism and in Translation and Interpreter. He graduated in Business Communication and, in recent years, has accumulated experience in the health sector. He also works as a free lancer cartoonist and has collaborated, mainly, under the pseudonym of Mandrade, for the Folha de S. Paulo newspaper, and several publishers of educational publications. His humorous drawings have already been reproduced, even in the French Le Monde and in the Swiss Le Temps. He believes that art should contribute to the reflection and edification of the human being. Light and good-natured, preferably. Since his youth he has cultivated an interest in fantastic and spiritual themes. He is an incorrigible consumer of comics, books, popcorn, chocolate and peanut butter, not necessarily in that order.
