"I believe if you love life, that life will love you back"..

I have been blessed to Author or Co-Author 5 books now, that have been purchased across the country; and in 8 countries internationally now.

I also believe in sharing knowledge, that I've obtained in my lifetime; to try to help others navigate this thing called life. I continue to mentor to our young adults, after leaving the game of "Travel Basketball"; because I feel it's so important to help them find their way. Life is hard enough to experience, but it becomes a little bit easier, if we help them understand the "Blue Print"; and help them set obtainable goals.

I grew up in New York City, raised by a single mother in the Bronx, and graduating from DeWitt Clinton High School; before joining the United States Navy (10 months after graduating high school). I retired from the US Navy on April 30th 2000, in Virginia Beach Virginia; after serving 20 years honorable.

I become a Maintenance Manager at one of the country's largest Steel Companies (US Steel), for a few years before leaving; to seek work that was more aligned with my purpose.

I started a Youth Empowerment Organization (Merrillville Youth Basketball Club), with the help of a couple of friends of mine in the community of Merrillville Indiana; that taught pride in oneself & one's community. We had seen 95% of our players / members, go off to college on Athletic Scholarships; and graduate with various college degrees across the country.

My community efforts have brought me many accolades over the years, like being featured on a episode of the ABC Network hit reality TV Show "Secret Millionaire"; and receiving a Honorary Doctorate Degree Of Letters (in Humanitarian Studies). I'm a Civility Ambassador, through the international faith base iChange Nations Global Organization; thaf is recognized by the United Nations in New York City.

I have sat on a couple of youth advisory boards, and is a Motivational Speaker. I have spoke at Churches, High Schools, Middle Schools; and Colleges. I love engaging our young people, and passing on what I know. "Knowledge isn't knowledge, unless you share it"..

We must be leaders in our own communities, and stop expecting the government to fix everything in them (because they won't); because true change must start with you and I first..
