Bruce Boise spent more than 24 years in the pharmaceutical industry as a hospital representative and then as an area manager in the Great Lakes Region.
From 2003 to 2017, he worked with the US Department of Justice on two separate False Claims Act cases against Cephalon/Teva, a neuroscientist-biotech company. The first case settled for $425 million and was covered in 2019 on the CBS show" Whistleblower" ( season 2, episode 4 ). The case was also featured on "Last Week Tonight" with John Oliver and "60 Minutes".
Today, Bruce's advocacy efforts include mentoring other whistleblowers and educating people on the importance of whistleblowing for the consumer safety. Bruce supports a multi-organizational approach to the opioid crisis by engaging in organizations like PROP (Physicians for Responsible Opioid Prescribing). He's an Ohio native.
