Will was born in Leeds and grew up in Liverpool. As a professional actor, he starred in the West End’s ‘Blood Brothers’ opposite Kiki Dee. TV includes ‘Inspector Morse’, ‘Flying Lady’ and being a presenter on the BBC’s ‘Playdays’. Soon he started directing and 100 episodes later he moved on to a two-year stint directing ‘Coronation Street’ and ‘Emmerdale’.
His first series of six books, ‘RE-EVOLUTION – THE DINO-DIMENSION’, are written with reluctant readers in mind. Fast-paced, short chapters and action-packed. Look out for Series Two later this year - ‘RE-EVOLUTION – TOXIC! The Five Deadly Kingdoms’
He will also be releasing ‘THE PARTIALLY INVISIBLE BOY’ and ‘FAIRY BOY’ - quickly followed by the outrageous comedy series ‘FARTY-ARTY – (The Boy with Superflatual Powers)
Will has also written, co-written and directed over 40 live shows, including 26 arena shows and a musical for children with special needs 'The Tale of Mr Tumble' for the Manchester International Festival which is regularly shown on Cbeebies. Will also wrote and directed the ‘Dr Who! The Monsters are Coming!’ arena tour starring Nigel Planer, which opened at Wembley to great acclaim.
Will now works as a regular director on ‘Hollyoaks’, ‘Eastenders’ and ‘Emmerdale'.
