Alan Michael Harris

I've been reading and writing poetry for over 25 years. I am a native of Syracuse, NY. I've lived in Raleigh, NC for the past 15 years. I have a Bachelor's degree from SUNY Oswego in Creative Writing. Some of my favorite poets are Allen Ginsberg, Walt Whitman, Amiri Baraka, Langston Hughes, John Ashbery, Robert Creeley, William Carlos Williams, Emily Dickinson, Diane di Prima, and Sylvia Plath.
