I’m a British marketing consultant-turned-novelist, and since 2021 I’ve published six romantic comedies filled with humour, heart, and happily-ever-afters (usually earned the hard way). I’m delighted to now be writing with the brilliant Boldwood Books, where I’ve signed on for four more stories. My latest novel, Not Over You, Actually, is out now.

I write warm, funny romcoms about relatably messy women in their 30s, 40s and 50s who are juggling careers, friendships, families, and the occasional emotional wobble. Expect awkward situations, laugh-out-loud moments, low-level spice, sharp dialogue, big feelings, and romance that sneaks up when it’s not always very convenient.

I live in the lovely market town of Chippenham in Wiltshire with my husband Pip and our dog Mabel. I have two grown-up children, a lifelong weakness for bookshops, and can bake a very respectable Victoria sponge. You can find me on Instagram @heidistephens.
