As a child I detested writing and reading until one day my father told me that reading a book was like transporting yourself to another world. From that day on, there was always a book in my hand. I cannot count the number of worlds I have seen and characters I have fallen in love with since that day.

Despite my growing love of books, I never saw writing as something I could make a career of. Then, one day I decided to pursue another dream of mine and buy a small farm in VA. During the moving process I came across one of my old stories (I was always writing stories as a teenager). Having grown tired of reading about other people's worlds and falling in love with characters that I would never know well enough, I decided it was time to create a world of my own. Thus the world of my childhood was reborn: Redrowen. I hope as I continue to write and develop my own little world that others will find and fall in love with it the way I have, and, maybe, be inspired to create worlds of their very own.
