Permanently altered in a head-on collision at fifteen years of age, Dan Moushey suffered the loss of his girlfriend and sustained life threatening injuries. Dan lost not only his hope of playing professional baseball, but also his sense of identity. For years, Dan has learned to live with tremendous loss, pain and disappointment. This journey, however, lead him to discover what he describes as CRAZY HOPE.
Dan is a licensed and ordained minister with the Christian and Missionary Alliance and has pastored for over thirteen years. As a writer and passionate speaker, Dan seeks to bring a message of hope to a hopeless world!
Dan and his wife Kimberly have been together for over thirty years. As a result of his injuries, physicians informed Dan he would never beget children. However, God has blessed him and his wife with four children of their own, and the privilege of adopting a fifth from the foster system. They are now blessed with seven grandchildren.
Excerpt from Crazy Hope:
“What if our greatest disappointment could actually become the catalyst to our greatest blessing? What if God strips away all our false hope in order to give us true hope? In the light of eternity and all that is at stake, wouldn’t that be the most loving thing God could do?”
