Ranjit Divakaran

The author hails from Calicut, a city in north Kerala and a place still close to his heart. He is a maxillofacial surgeon by profession and a writer by passion.

His writings were mostly confined to slices of life that had an emotional tag to it. However this is his second book. The earlier one " Algebra of Hope" reflected the challenges and pleasures of employment in the Middle East and grappled with the deeper meaning of routine and work.

Dr.Ranjit is also a painter, specialising in oil paintings and mixed media. The childhood desire to paint graduated to many solo art shows including one at Soorya art festival. He also takes up commissioned projects by special request.
